What does it cost to use Semicircl?

Nothing to submit a brief or receive packages. We are paid a commission by the providers you book, which is already included in every price you see. The number on the package is the number you pay — there is no separate planning fee unless a package explicitly includes a coordination line, which is always itemized.

Is this real-time availability?

No, and we would be careful about anyone claiming otherwise. You request a specific date, and venues and vendors confirm whether they can hold it. Most respond within a couple of days. Where a venue offers to hold a date informally, we tell you how long that hold lasts.

How long does it take to get packages back?

We aim for 72 hours from a complete brief. Complicated events — large guest counts, unusual requirements, dates inside three weeks — can take longer, and we will tell you when that is the case rather than going quiet.

Can I change something after I have chosen a package?

Yes. Every proposal includes 1 round of revisions before you commit, and after booking you talk to us about changes rather than chasing each supplier. Guest counts, timings and menu details routinely move; we handle the re-quoting.

What happens to my deposit?

Deposits are refundable in full for 72 hours after payment. After that, refunds follow each provider's stated terms, which are listed on every package.

When is the balance due?

14 days before the event, in one payment. You will get a reminder well before that, and it appears in your dashboard from the moment you book.

Question 7

Is sales tax included in the package price?

Package prices are shown excluding Tennessee sales tax, which is applied at checkout where it is due. Whether a specific line is taxable depends on what it is — venue rental, prepared food and rental equipment are treated differently — and the breakdown is shown before you pay.

How do providers get paid?

Through Stripe, directly to their connected account, after the event. We collect the deposit and balance from you and pay each provider out net of our commission. We never hold or store your card details.

What if a provider cancels on me?

That becomes our problem to solve. We re-source the category at the same price where we possibly can, and where we cannot, you are refunded that component in full. This is one of the practical reasons the booking sits with us rather than with nine separate businesses.

My guest count is going to change. Is that a problem?

It is normal. Catering and bar rescale per head; the venue usually does not. Tell us as soon as you know and we handle the re-quoting with every affected provider — you do not contact them individually.

Can I book just one thing, without a venue?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Not every brief needs a venue. If you already have the room and only need catering and a bar, say so at the venue step and we will source only what you asked for.

Do you handle events outside Nashville?

We do not do weddings at all right now. Semicircl is built for corporate events, holiday parties, rehearsal dinners and welcome parties, milestone birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, fundraisers and private dinners.

Which areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Nashville and the surrounding market: Davidson County plus Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro and Hendersonville. If your event is outside that radius we will say so rather than take a brief we cannot service properly.

What happens to my data?

Accepted Answer

Your brief is shared with the providers we invite to quote, because they cannot quote without it. We do not sell data, and we do not pass your contact details to providers before a booking. The privacy page describes this in more detail and is an initial template pending legal review.

Can I review a provider afterwards?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and only if you booked and attended through the platform. We do not accept reviews from anyone else, which is why some listings have no reviews at all rather than a comfortable-looking number.
