For private hosts

A fortieth, a rehearsal dinner, a weekend for twenty.

The events people actually remember, planned without twelve group chats and nine separate deposits.

Where the money goes

Spend it where it shows

On a private event, the two things guests consistently remember are the food and whether they had to queue for a drink. Almost everything else is negotiable.

So when a budget is tight, we will usually suggest the same trade: a plainer room with better catering, a licensed bartending service pouring alcohol you supplied yourself, and flowers reduced to a few good arrangements rather than every surface. It is not the most profitable advice we could give, but it is the right one.

If you would rather go the other way — a spectacular room, a live band, an installation at the entrance — say so in the brief. We will build that instead.

Practicalities

Things worth deciding early

  • Whether guests will drive

It decides whether a Franklin or Murfreesboro venue is a saving or a problem.

  • The real end time

County curfews vary and outdoor amplified music often ends earlier than people expect.

  • Seated or standing

The same room holds very different numbers, and it changes the catering format entirely.

  • Who is bringing the alcohol

BYO with a licensed bartender is usually the largest single saving available.

  • Accessibility

Tell us in the brief and we only source rooms that genuinely work — including the arrival route.
