How it works
One brief in. Two or three complete options back.
We are a managed marketplace, not a directory. That means a person reads your brief, sources against it, and stays on the event until it happens.
The short version
Three steps
- 01
Tell us about the event once
One structured brief covers the date, the guest count, the budget, the food and drink, and anything that has to be right — accessibility, dietary requirements, a hard cap. It takes about eight minutes and saves as you go.
You never repeat yourself to eleven different suppliers, and every provider quotes against the same information.
- 02
We source and build two or three packages
We take the brief to venues and vendors we have worked with, collect structured quotes, and assemble them into coordinated packages — usually within 72 hours. You get options, not a list of ninety search results.
Every package shows the same categories in the same format, so comparing them is a matter of reading, not decoding.
- 03
Choose one, pay a deposit, we run the rest
Pick a package, add or drop the optional extras, and pay a single deposit. Every provider is confirmed at once. One thread, one contract summary, one balance payment before the event.
If something changes — a guest count, a date, a supplier problem — you talk to us, not to five separate businesses.
The long version
What actually happens, and when
Timings assume a complete brief and a date more than three weeks out. We will tell you when yours is different.
Day 0
You submit a brief
About eight minutes. Date, guest count, area, budget, what you need and anything that has to be right. It saves as you go, so you can leave and come back.
Within a day
We review and come back with questions
A real person reads it. If something is ambiguous — a date that will be hard, a budget that will not stretch to the brief — we tell you before we go out to anyone.
Days 1–3
We source
We invite a shortlist of venues and vendors who actually fit. They confirm whether they can hold your date and return a structured quote against your requirements.
Around 72 hours
You receive two or three packages
Complete options, itemized identically, with assumptions and cancellation terms stated. Compare them side by side, ask questions in the thread, request one round of revisions.
When you are ready
You choose and pay a deposit
A single deposit — 25% of the all-in total — confirms every provider at once. Contact details unlock and the event thread opens up to your suppliers.
14 days before
Balance due
One balance payment. We confirm the run of show, final counts and arrival times with every provider in the week before.
After
Providers are paid, you review
Providers are paid out after the event. You can review each one — and only customers who actually booked and attended can.
If you would rather not do any of it
Ask for a planner instead
Everything above assumes you want to compare packages yourself. Some events are better handed to one person.
Event planners are one of the categories we source. Tell us in the brief that you want one and instead of packages we will introduce you to two or three planners who suit your event — a coordinator who takes over for the final month and runs the day, or a planner who owns the whole thing from the first conversation to the last guest and stays beside you the entire way. You meet them, you choose, and they take it from there with us still in the thread.
Planning is quoted per event rather than from a rate card, because the fee follows the scale of the event and how much of it you want handed over. We scope it on a call before any number is put in writing.

Money
How pricing works
The price you see on a package is the price you pay. Our commission — a default of 12%, sometimes lower by category — comes out of what the provider receives, not on top of what you pay.
Where a package includes a coordination fee, it is shown as its own line. Where a price depends on something that is not final yet — a guest count, bar consumption — it is listed under assumptions, and we tell you which way it is likely to move.
You pay 25% as a deposit to confirm, and the balance 14 days before the event. Sales tax is applied at checkout where it is due.
Communication
Why messages stay on the platform
Before a deposit is paid, everything runs through your event thread and direct contact details stay hidden. That is not about trapping you — it is because the quote, the contract summary, the payment record and the conversation need to live in the same place for us to be able to help when something changes.
The moment your deposit clears, contact details unlock for everyone working on the event. Call the venue, email the caterer, do whatever is practical. The thread stays as the record.
